Best AV Company

For this category judges will be looking for AV suppliers who have stood out during the qualifying period.  How have the companies worked with clients, organisers and exhibitors, to deliver excellent standards of service and quality of products.  Examples of problem solving and how new products have enhanced the company’s offering will score top marks.

Best Customer Service Team

Good customer service goes a long way to retaining and winning contracts.  This category is open to any supplier who takes pride in their customer service methods and can demonstrate how they stand out from the crowd.  Testimony from clients will help the winner stand out.

Best Design & Build Company – Under £5m turnover

This award shines a light on one exhibition supplier who has created an award-winning stand design for a client during 2019. The business will have a turnover of £5M or less. 

The judges will be looking for a blend of creative solutions, which fulfil the clients brief, and flawless execution on site. These can be an individual stand or multiple execution of stands.

Best Design & Build Company – Over £5m

This award shines a light on one exhibition supplier who has created an award-winning stand design for a client during 2019. The business will have a turnover of £5M or more.

The judges will be looking for a blend of creative solutions, which fulfil the clients brief, and flawless execution on site. These can be an individual stand or multiple execution of stands.

Best Eco Supplier

As a supplier have you made significant improvements to the sustainability of your products and services?  With pressure on from all angles, sustainability is now key and judges will be looking for entries that demonstrate these improvements through new product lines, company policies, ways of working with organisers, venues and exhibitors and a demonstrable reduction in waste.

Best Employer

In this category you can showcase how well you look after your employees through different initiatives and benefits.  These can be physical and mental methods of working alongside more structured training and benefits that your staff can enjoy.

Best Furniture Provider

Judges will be looking for the furniture provider who has gone to the next level during the qualification period.  Alongside new product ranges and examples of positive levels of service, how has your company innovated this year?

Best Logistics Company

The international events logistics industry is an unsung hero of the industry. This award shines a light on one exhibition supplier providing Logistic services to the exhibition community. The judges will look for examples where suppliers have gone beyond their day-to-day job to help one or more their clients at events successfully during 2019, shown innovation and demonstrated excellence.

Best Registration Supplier

With the vast array of technology available, registration companies have been able to up their game in terms of what they can offer organisers and exhibitors alike.  Judges will be looking for exactly this from the entrants – how does your registration stand out from the crowd?

Best Signage & Graphics Supplier

This category is open to all those that supply graphics and signage to exhibitions.  Criteria we are looking for here include sustainability, new ways of printing and delivering the graphics as well as quality of service and size of jobs available.

Best Staffing Company

This category covers those that supply all types of staff – crew, security, front and back of house.  Judges will be looking for the supplier that has upped the ante in levels and type of service and how they have increased the training to provide better staff.

Best Tech Company

With so much technology available how does your product and service stand out from the rest.  If you can demonstrate how well the technology on offer fulfils the brief and adds to the user experience, then the judges will score you highly.

Innovation of the Year

This award will be won by the company that can demonstrate the best innovation of the last year.  This will be a new product to market that has dramatically enhanced an exhibition for an organiser or exhibitor.

Unsung Hero

Do you have someone who works tirelessly in the background to ensure the successful delivery of your service and never gets the limelight?  This is your chance to enter them into the award and for them to take to the stage.  Hard work, endeavour, outside the day job, commitment and reliability are all words that will strike a chord with the judges.

Best Operations Contractor

Open to any company who provides operational support to organisers, this category is looking for the contractor that can demonstrate excellent values, levels of support and results at every stage of the operational cycle – pre-show, onsite and post-event.
